The late Del Close, comedy legend and improv pioneer, liked nothing more than a good laugh - no matter how weird and macabre. So, he bequeathed his skull to Chicago's Goodman Theatre. Close died last March from emphysema. He wanted to play Yorick in a production of Hamlet, and now his wish might come true. On July 1, Close's skull was officially turned over to the Goodman's Robert Falls. (Source: The INC. Column, Chicago Tribune; 6/30/99).
