How are dead people like cars?

They both can now be stripped for parts. Time magazine's (May 17, 1999) back page essay by Charles Krauthammer informs us that Pennsylvania plans to begin paying the relatives of organ donors $300 toward funeral expenses. These body parts will help the now 62,000 desperate Americans awaiting organ transpantation to save their lives. The essay debates the moral and ethical concerns of this new - and first in our country - organ donation reward system, which the author supports.
