Cool Casket for Rock and Roll Heaven

At a recent licensing convention in New York, Kiss bassist Gene Simmons showed off what he considers to be the ultimate piece of music memorabilia: a life-size, fully functional Kiss coffin, otherwise known as a Kiss Kasket. Cost: $4,000.  "This is the ultimate Kiss collectible," said Simmons.  "I love livin', but this makes the alternative look pretty damn good."  He notes that the coffin, covered with a photomural of band members and emblazoned with the words Kiss Forever, also can be used as a cooler.  (as reported in USA Today, June 19, 2001)
