Bright Future Predicted for Morticians
The Chicago Tribune reported on Sunday, March 18, 2001 that
there is an expected shortage of morticians coming within the next few years.
The funeral industry predicts an acute shortfall in the numbers of licensed
morticians and funeral directors due to retirement and fewer students enrolled at
the nation's 52 accredited mortuary colleges. So, if you were recently
"pink-slipped" at a Dot-Com, here's a chance for a secure job
market...after all, the only things you can count on in life are death
and taxes.
