About the Facilitator: Michael Nejman has a masters degree in Multicultural Affairs and Student Services from DePaul University. He’s been trained at the National Multicultural Institute in Washington, D.C., the only accredited diversity program in the nation.  He has facilitated workshops since 1992 and has taught Diversity 101 at Harper College (IL).

Nejman authored the only book in the field that deals with diversity at the community college level; former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun penned his foreword.  Diversity, Student Activities, and their roles in Community Colleges was published by the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Educational Foundation and endorsed by the Illinois Community College Student Activities Association (ICCSAA).  This book was recently listed as a reference in the CAS Professional Standards for Higher Education manual under "The Role of Campus Activities" (pg.56).

He’s been a featured speaker at the:
